Things Fall Together

Things Fall Together began with David Pagel, who invited a handful of artists he had been watching and let the show assemble itself from there. No thesis was imposed; the works were set beside one another and the connections turned out to be real ones. What emerged was a portrait of a loose, inventive group working in Los Angeles at the time — five practices that read as a shared conversation rather than a curatorial argument.
