Made in 2008, when water was starting to be talked about as property. Three drawings read in sequence, each a later moment than the last, as the water table drops. Who owns an aquifer, who gets to pump and who gets cut off: claims that had sat quietly in old deeds and compacts were turning into the argument of the century.
