Three is the first number that makes a shape. Two points give you a line; three give you a plane, a triangle, the minimum structure that can hold something up. This drawing takes that as its subject — not the numeral as decoration, but as the smallest arrangement from which stability becomes possible.
The series is about systems that carry everything and never appear: frequency, current, the pull between bodies. Number is the oldest of them. Drawn by hand in colored pencil, slowly, it becomes an object you can stand in front of rather than a fact you accept.
