The title is a procedure, not a metaphor. Once the code can be edited, the categories that used to be fixed become inputs, and the sentence describes something schedulable rather than impossible.
Fourteen by eleven inches and drawn in the flat, obliging style of a field guide. The horror of these pieces, if there is any, is how reasonable they look — a diagram never argues with you.
