High Frequency

Everything is vibrating at a rate we've agreed not to notice. Above a certain frequency the world stops being available to the senses and becomes purely functional — signal, transmission, the carrier under every message.
Built up by hand, the wave becomes something you can stand in front of and look at directly. The joke of drawing high frequency in the slowest possible medium is not lost on me; it may be the point.
