Three drawings that answer each other. A name set in the lettering of a horror poster; a figure blowing bubbles at the devil; someone holding on to what has already gone cold. Each is a gesture aimed at something too large to argue with — small, absurd, and the only move available.
The title work gives the group its name. An echo is what a slogan becomes once the moment that produced it has passed: the shape of the words survives, the authority behind them does not.
